Love is the centre of the Christian life: being loved by God and learning to love others in return. These prayers ask for a heart that is patient and kind, for grace toward difficult people and for the ability to love well in your marriage, family and friendships. Pray one when love feels easy and especially when it does not.
Mighty God, form Christ in me through love. Train my heart to depend on You more than on my own understanding. Teach me to trust You fully and obey You quickly in all things. Turn my heart toward obedience and keep me from every path that harms me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord Jesus, guide me as I seek love. Help me honor You in private and in public, in small choices and great ones. Guard my heart from distraction and help me pursue what is good and true. Keep my steps firm in Your way and make my life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
